Respite for Children with Disabilities

  • Outreach support to children in their home.

Support can be offered for children or young people in their home to undertake sensory fun activities these can include:

  • Arts and crafts. 
  • Story time.
  • Music & more.
  • Respite support by support workers/carers in the agency’s sensory environment.
  We have activities to offer support to children with special educational needs and disabilities to suit each individual child and young person. Children can access the sensory room, sensory messy play and the sensory garden and lots more sensory themed activities to meet individual needs.
  • Buddy Service.
 We accept referrals from the local authority and parents who require support for a child or young person this can be in the form of practitioners supporting a child with an activity in the community, in the home or in the agency facilities that are designed for children and young people. 

All referrals accepted will be risk assessed by an agency practitioner who is fully trained in risk assessments.
